Teesta University is named after the Teesta River, which flows through Bangladesh and India and is a vital source of water and livelihood for millions of people. The river also symbolizes the potential for cooperation and development in the region, as well as the challenges of environmental conservation and social justice. Our university aims to reflect these values and aspirations in its academic programs, research activities, and community engagement.
