Md. Ataur Rahman

Md. Ataur Rahman was born on May 1, 1961, in Chapai Nawabgonj, Bangladesh, to the late Md. Taimur Rahman and the late Sobjenur Begum. From his early childhood, he was deeply rooted in the values of integrity, education, and culture—ideals that shaped his journey toward becoming a respected academic and administrator. Growing up amidst the rich traditions of Bangladeshi society, he developed a deep appreciation for knowledge, discipline, and community service, which guided every step of his professional life.

After completing his early education with determination, Md. Ataur Rahman earned his Master of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Rajshahi in 1987, following his bachelor’s degree in the same field in 1985.
