About The Faculty

The Faculty of Agriculture & Veterinary Science teaches practical and modern skills in farming and animal care. Our courses cover crop science, agronomy, horticulture, agricultural economics, and key veterinary subjects like anatomy, physiology, and animal health. Students learn in classrooms and get hands-on training in labs, fields, and clinics. We also carry out applied research and work with farms, businesses, and government partners so our teaching stays useful in the real world. Graduates leave ready to work in farming, animal health, agribusiness, extension services, or research. They are prepared to improve farm productivity, protect animal welfare, and support food security through sustainable practices. Join us to learn practical skills, take part in real projects, and help build a stronger, healthier food system.
