• An applicant seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering program must have successfully completed the S.S.C, H.S.C (or A Level), and Diploma examinations, attaining the necessary grades (a minimum GPA of 2.5 in each). The academic background should include coursework in Computer Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Additionally, proficiency in both Bangla and English languages is essential.

• An applicant aspiring to enrol in the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) program can gain admission by meeting the following criteria: successful completion of the S.S.C, H.S.C (or A Level), and Diploma examinations with the requisite grades (minimum GPA of 2.5 in each), including coursework in Computer Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Proficiency in both Bangla and English languages is also a prerequisite for admission.

To get admission for B.Sc. (Engg.) in EEE Program, a candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Students seeking admission for the degree of Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering should be passed both the S.S.C and H.S.C examinations with at least GPA 2.5 (Scale 5) and 2nd Class in each of the examinations.

• Students passing Electrical Technology and Electronic Technology from Polytechnique Institute with a GPA of at least 2.5 (Scale 5) or 2nd Class are also eligible for admission into the B.Sc. (Engg.) in EEE course.

• A student intending to pursue the course for the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology may be admitted provided she/he has passed the S.S.C. and H.S.C. (or A Level) examination with required grades (minimum GPA-2.5 in each) with Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Mathematics. They will also be required to have good knowledge in English language.

• Students seeking admission for the degree of Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering should be passed both the S.S.C and H.S.C examinations with at least GPA 2.5 (Scale 5) and 2nd Class in each of the examinations.

• Students will be admitted to the courses of B.Sc.Ag. (Hons.) degree must have background in physics, chemistry and biology/mathematics/agriculture from their pre-university studies or Diploma in Agriculture.

• Applicants must have successfully completed the HSC or its equivalent, focusing on the Science Group, with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology included in both SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations. A minimum GPA of 2.50 is required separately in each of the SSC and HSC examinations. Alternatively, if an applicant does not meet the GPA requirement individually, a cumulative GPA of 6.00 in both the SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations is acceptable. It's important to note that these criteria are subject to change based on the discretion of the central admission committee, considering the prevailing circumstances.
